We make practical products designed around the way practitioners actually work.

Massage balms with distinct levels of grip and glide, so you can choose the right amount of traction or slip for the technique.

Massage oil formulated to provide the glide needed for longer strokes, without leaving the heavy residue that makes towels and clothing difficult to launder.

MEND Magnesium Lotion, our magnesium-enriched recovery lotion. Combining magnesium with a carefully selected blend of active ingredients for post-treatment and recovery-focused care.

Pre-Taping Massage Gel, a water-based massage gel designed to allow soft-tissue work before taping, while leaving the skin clean and ready for tape application.

And, throughout the range, magnesium is a core part of the MEND formulation philosophy.

From Taranaki, MEND supplies practitioners and clinics throughout New Zealand, while supporting local athletes and teams in our community.

Specialist Lymphatic Drainage & Therapeutic Bodywork

MEND Studio is the private practice of Michelle Ackerman, specialising in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and nervous system-focused bodywork.

With more than 20 years of hands-on experience, Michelle draws on a broad range of therapeutic techniques to provide individualised treatment — adapting her approach to what your body needs rather than following a set routine.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a specialised, gentle hands-on technique using precise, rhythmic movements to support the movement of lymphatic fluid through the body.

It is very different from conventional massage. MLD uses light pressure and specific techniques rather than deep muscular work and is tailored to your individual presentation.

It may be appropriate for certain types of swelling, lymphatic conditions and post-operative care, where lymphatic drainage has been recommended or is considered suitable.
