What is MEND Pre-Taping Massage Gel?
MEND’s Pre-Taping Massage Gel is a clinically formulated, water-based gel designed for use before taping or strapping. Unlike creams or oils, it dries quickly and leaves no greasy residue, so tape sticks better and stays on longer.

Use it to:

Loosen tissue with a quick soft-tissue prep
Calm the area with anti-inflammatory herbal extracts
Prep the skin without compromising tape adhesion

Available in two versions:

Original: Cooling and calming with Arnica, St John’s Wort, and Eucalyptus
Extra Strength: Adds Cajeput oil for deeper stimulation and circulation support

How to Use

Instructions for Use

Dispense 1–2 pumps and apply directly to the area needing taping
Perform a short massage or mobility prep
Wait 15–30 seconds for gel to dry (no wiping necessary)
Apply kinesiology or rigid tape as normal

Note: Suitable for use with most tapes. If using on sensitive skin, always patch test first.

FAQs

Is it safe under tape?
Yes! It’s formulated specifically to leave zero oily residue, so it won’t interfere with tape adhesion.

Can I use it during massage?
Absolutely — it’s perfect for short, focused massage work. It’s not meant for long full-body sessions but ideal for targeted pre-tape prep.

Does it sting on broken skin?
We don’t recommend using it on open wounds. For shaved or delicate skin, start with a patch test first.

Is it pregnancy safe?
Yes — the Original version is safe to use in pregnancy. The Extra Strength version contains essential oils that may be best avoided unless advised by a practitioner.

Can clients use this at home?
Yes! It’s perfect as part of an at-home taping or recovery kit for active clients.
